We help people send one personal loan request for $500 to $5,000 to lenders in our network. We are not a lender, and our service is free.

Who we are and what our service does
We run a free online service that connects people looking for personal loans of $500 to $5,000 with lenders in our network. We are not a lender; lenders review requests, make credit decisions and set every loan term.
Our office is at 179 Sycamore Street, Suite 527, Augusta, ME 04330, and we serve borrowers across the United States wherever lenders in our network operate. Our work sits in the space between a person with a bill to cover and the lenders who might help: we build the request form, explain the process in plain language and pass each request to lenders that may be able to serve it.
Many people find us after searching for a dash of cash to handle something specific, such as a brake job, a past-due electric bill, a vet visit or two credit cards they want to combine into one payment. We built the site around those real situations rather than around any single product.
Why the request form exists
The request form lets you describe your need once instead of filling out separate applications with several lenders. One request can reach multiple lenders in our network, which saves time and makes comparing offers easier.

Applying lender by lender is slow, and each application can ask the same questions in a different order. When money is needed for a repair or a bill, that repetition costs time people do not have. Our form gathers the details lenders commonly need, such as the amount, purpose, income and contact information, and sends them to lenders that may lend in your state.
A request is not a loan application with us, because we do not make loans. It is a way to find out which lenders, if any, are willing to make you an offer. You can review each offer, compare it with others and decline any of them without owing anything.
How we make money, in plain words
Lenders in our network may pay us when we pass them a request or when a loan they make through our service funds. You never pay us anything to send a request, compare offers or decline them.
That arrangement keeps the service free for borrowers, but it also means we have a financial relationship with the lenders we work with. Compensation can affect which lenders receive a request and the order in which offers appear. It does not change the APR, fees or terms a lender offers you; the lender sets those.
We think you should know this before you send a request, so we explain it in full in our advertiser disclosure. If something about how we are paid is unclear, ask us and we will answer directly.
Our editorial standards for guides and estimates
Our guides use plain language, consistent payment math and honest comparisons. Lender compensation does not decide what we write, and we never invent statistics, promise approval or present an estimate as an offer.
- One payment table. Every estimated payment on the site comes from the same fully amortizing table, so a $2,000 example in one guide matches the same example in another. The representative example is $2,000 over 24 months at 24.99% APR: an estimated $106.73 a month and $561.52 in interest.
- Alternatives included. When a payment plan, an employer advance or simply waiting a month would cost less than borrowing, our guides say so.
- Clear roles. We state plainly that lenders decide, that terms vary by lender and state and that not every applicant is approved.
- General information only. Our content explains how borrowing works; it is not financial, legal or tax advice for your situation.
- Corrections. If you spot an error, email us and we will review it and update the page when a fix is needed.
You can check our math yourself with the personal loan calculator, which uses the same amortization method as the guides.
What we will never do
We will never charge you a fee to use our request form, ask for payment before a lender funds a loan, or request gift cards, wire transfers or your online banking password. Anyone who does is not acting for us.
Scammers often borrow the language of real loan services, and people who need money quickly are frequent targets. If a caller or message claims to represent us and asks for money up front, stop the conversation and contact us through the details on our contact page. To see what a genuine request through our form looks like from start to finish, read how our service works.
